March 15, 2004, Creditdiscovery and Eagle Processing Launch Joint Development Effort to Create Web-based Merchant Portal

Creditdiscovery, the leader in independent online decision making for the Acquiring Industry, today announced a joint agreement with Eagle Processing, a Denton Texas based group, to develop a web-based Merchant Portal and Transaction Fraud System for Creditdiscovery clients.

"The Merchant Portal will enable our clients to add-value to existing merchant services", said Randall Sargent, CTO for Creditdiscovery. "Through this product, our client's merchants can log on to their accounts, using a web-browser, and view their Transactions, Batches, Deposits, Retrievals, and Chargebacks. Merchants can also view funds being held, or on reserve, by said clients or their sponsor BIN Banks. We are very excited about the new Merchant Portal, and the additional revenue opportunities it presents for our clients."

The joint agreement between the two companies has also raise eyebrows in the electronic transaction industry, regarding the aforementioned Transaction Fraud System. "This new system will allow our clients to work with a single system, while surveying transaction across multiple front-ends, including FDR's Omaha and Nashville systems, Paymentech, VisaNet, and Concord EFS.", said Mr. Sargent. "This move remains consistent with Creditdiscovery's objective to remain processor independent, but still provide our clients with a single point-of-entry system through which new applications, underwriting, reporting, risk, Chargebacks, Customer Service, Terminal Deployment, Leasing - all back-office functions may be managed."

Creditdiscovery management expects to be able to demonstrate both of these modules at the ETA Convention in Las Vegas, starting April 19, 2004.
